Terms of Service - SlashedUrl

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SlashedUrl ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including link creators and visitors who click SlashedUrl links.

2. Description of service

SlashedUrl lets you create links that redirect visitors to different destinations based on their country (geo-targeting) and count clicks separately for each campaign tag you add (Campaign Links). The Service also shortens links, generates QR codes, and provides click analytics. Some features are available only on paid plans. Links with an expiry date stop redirecting once that date passes. Features may change as the Service develops.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to shorten or distribute URLs that:

Link to malware, spyware, ransomware, viruses, or any malicious software.
Engage in phishing, social engineering, or impersonation of any person or organisation.
Distribute spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
Host, promote, or facilitate illegal content under applicable law.
Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
Circumvent technical restrictions of the Service or any third-party system.

We reserve the right to investigate and take action, including suspension or termination of your account, for violations of this policy. Destination URLs are screened automatically when a link is created, and we may refuse or disable links that appear malicious.

4. Account responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must keep your authentication credentials secure. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Plans, pricing and billing

The Free plan costs nothing and is not a trial. It includes 50 new links a month (the allowance resets on the 1st of every month, and deleted links still count toward it), geo-targeting on 3 links at a time, and 7 days of visible analytics. Paid plans (currently Pro at $9/month, and Agency at $29/month, available by waitlist) are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.

If you cancel or downgrade, paid-plan features stop being available and your account returns to the Free plan limits. Links you have already created continue to work. Refund requests are reviewed case by case - contact us at support.slashedurl@gmail.com.

We may change prices or plan limits. We will give reasonable notice by email or on the Service before a price change affects you. Continued use of a paid plan after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of any URLs and content you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and store your links for the purpose of operating the Service. We own all rights in the SlashedUrl platform, including its code, design, and trademarks.

7. Availability and uptime

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time via the Profile page.

12. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify users via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
